runaway boss
runaway bride, sure you’ve known those julia roberts and
richard gere’s comedy romance movie. now here’s a story about runaway boss.
she
said she will leave for a month and soon delegate some works to her staff .
that’s quite a long time for someone who haven’t worked for 5 years, not an
owner, or even not for urgent medical purpose (like the other staff thought).
she only said "i can’t tell.." gee, mysterious! so there she goes, then
two weeks later there are rumours that she was already resigned. how
come?! no early sounding, no farewell, she even clean up her desk on weekend..
wow!
yesterday there’s an email from our colleague about 12 tips of resign in such
elegance way. well, none of them fit her way then.. =P
mm, i wonder what she is going to say to all her colleague, what in this
crazy world is that?! and she came yesterday, said hello. of course it’s kinda
difficult to act and pretend that nothing’s wrong (specially for me! =P).
we had a great dinner, still it’s totally weird situation. we’re
waiting the ‘press conference’ through our
meals. well, for the thing that you-know-what-and-better-not-be-said
as a reason and other consideration from management, she has to delayed that
news for us.
the good thing is finally we met, have a little time to
talk. though there are several sharing that actually didn’t have to added by another
complained.
we’ve just told her what we feel and how we survive lately
regarding her resigned, and she always came up with “try to understand my
position..”
we do try our own best effort then, still until that final
moment, things didn’t run that smooth, i guess.. goodluck, boss, in everything
you do! thanks a lot for everything..
team, we got big chances and responsibilities tomorrow.. just
do our best, ok?! goodluck! =)
